Perfectly Linked

For Prospective Donors

WELCOME

Thank you for your interest in working with Perfectly Linked Egg Donor Concierge to assist our clients in fulfilling their desire to build a family. Egg donation is a very meaningful experience that gives you an opportunity to help prospective parents overcome fertility challenges that might otherwise prevent them from having children.

There are many women who for various reasons are not able to achieve pregnancy. Some of the obstacles are premature ovarian reserve, chromosomal abnormalities, poor egg quality or previous ailments that affect fertility. With the assistance of young healthy egg donors, such as you, these women will hopefully experience the joy of parenting. Additionally, egg donation affords members of the LGBTQ community the option of family building.

Our boutique-style program includes thorough screening, comprehensive education and closely monitored cycle management – all provided with the highest level of professionalism, support, guidance and compassion.

As an egg donor for Perfectly Linked, your time and careful compliance with our exacting standards for each donation will be financially rewarded. However, the greatest reward is knowing that you helped make it possible for a deserving individual or couple to enjoy the prize of parenthood.

We at Perfectly Linked Egg Donor Concierge firmly believe that compassionate women who kind-heartedly and so generously participate in egg donation are truly exceptional people. The gift you offer is beyond measure and can greatly enhance the life of our clients in their quest to become parents. You are valued and appreciated here at Perfectly Linked Egg Donor Concierge.

HOW IT WORKS

If your application is a fit for the agency and passes the standard requirements, you will receive a call to schedule an in-depth interview. During this interview we will have you to complete a more detailed questionnaire so we can find the perfect link for our program

      • If Perfectly Linked accepts your application, we will contact you to schedule an in-depth interview. During the interview, we will ask you to complete a more detailed questionnaire to help us connect you with the best match for intended parents within our program.
      • While completing your application, you will be prompted to submit photos of yourself. We recommend when choosing photos for submission that you keep in mind that the photos will be viewed by prospective parents. Please eliminate club photos and bathroom selfies. Based on the quality of photos, we may schedule an appointment for you to meet with a professional photographer.
      • Once we receive your completed questionnaire and photos, your profile will go “live” in our secured, private and password-protected database to which our prospective parents will have temporary access. It is unknown how quickly you will be matched; it may take up to several months.
      • When you are selected and both parties (you and the prospective parents) have confirmed, you will start the medical screening process required by the managing Fertility Center for medical clearance.
      • After you are medically cleared by the managing Fertility Center, the legal agreement process will begin.
      • Once contract agreements are in place, the managing Fertility Center will be notified and the process for egg donation will begin. The Fertility Center will order your medications and provide you with detailed instructions that you must follow very carefully. The process from start to finish will take approximately 2 ½ months. You will be on medications for approximately 10 to 12 days before retrieval. The medications are safe and FDA approved. Please be assured that we will always be available to assist you through the process in any way possible.
      • The day after retrieval, you are safe to resume your normal daily routine. The Fertility Center will provide you with medical instructions regarding normal activities after retrieval. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

FAQ

IF I DONATE MY EGGS, WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN OF MY OWN?

Yes; your normal amount of ovarian follicles is not decreased due to egg donations. Although, we cannot medically advise but we can refer you to ASRM and Resolve for information to provide insight on egg donation. These two organizations are non-profit organizations that specifically focus on fertility and they offer useful information about the risks involved with donation, in addition to information on how age and quality of eggs can play a role in the ability to become pregnant.

WHAT ARE THE RISK?

Ovarian Hyper-Stimulation (OHSS) is the primary risk we watch for.  However, this is rare as the managing Fertility Center will closely monitor your response to the stimulation medications throughout the duration of you being on the medications and will adjust medications accordingly (If needed). During the stimulation and recovery time some women experience weight gain, significant bloating and possibly some cramping. Before starting a cycle, you will have preliminary screening with the fertility specialist who will manage your donation cycle, during this time if you have any clinical questions regarding risk and/or potential side effects of the stimulation medications and the procedures this would be the ideal time to address. The fertility specialist will be able to answer your questions in detail to provide you clarity before starting the egg donation cycle.

IS SURGERY INVOLVED IN EGG DONATION?

It is a minor vaginal procedure accompanied with IV sedation. You are not getting cut in any way however, there is needle aspiration to retrieve eggs from mature follicles. The procedure takes approximately 20 minutes with a total recovery time of 1 to 1 ½ hour prior to discharge. You will need a companion to take you home after discharge. The day after procedure you will be ok to return back to work and/or travel. Some donors may experience some mild discomfort and symptoms until they begin their post retrieval menstrual cycle which comes within 2 weeks after the retrieval procedure.

DOES IT HURT?

Some donors mention the fear of injections is far more painful than the actual injection. Medications are self-administered with a small insulin-type needle and the staff at the Fertility Center will instruct the donor on how to administer the medications with minimal discomfort, if any discomfort at all. During the retrieval procedure the donors are under anesthesia and they feel no pain. After the retrieval the donors are instructed to take it easy that day, most donors only complain of cramping. The managing Fertility Center will provide you with instructions

HOW LONG WILL THE ENTIRE PROCESS TAKE?

Once you have completed preliminary screening and legal agreement, the process moves pretty quick. The entire process takes approximately 4 weeks. However, getting selected and/or matched may take months.

ARE THE MEDICATIONS SAFE?

Yes, these medications are safe and approved by FDA. These medications are taken for fertility challenges and egg donation by many women. As each person is different, there will be a varying degree of side effects.

HOW MUCH IS THE COMPENSATION?

At Perfectly Linked, we acknowledge devoting your time and being compliant in the process, this is such a selfless act and we gratefully appreciate you. We compensate our  egg donors $8500.00 per donation cycle.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BE MATCHED FOR A DONATION?

This is not an easy question but often asked. The match process can take a day after your profile goes live in our database or it can take months, the time frame to match we are not able to pinpoint. Typically a Prospective mother would look for a donor that share some physical characteristics, match their personal family traits, their family cultural traits and their own personal values, just to name a few. With intended father(s) the matching traits are not so detailed however, they too would like to feel some connection and familiarities. The ultimate goal is that the Prospective Parent(s) feeling the match is Perfectly Linked!
